Shoegaze lives on: Exit Calm

Every now and again you come across a band that is being hyped massively - and you wonder - are they REALLY that good? (yes, they are - according to reports we've heard)

Exit Calm are one of those bands and tonight they're playing The Slade Rooms, the third date on their UK tour (tickets on the door).

There's a definite 90's indie/shoegaze element here - think The Jesus and Mary Chain meets The Verve meets Ride (video below).
