Meet We Are Scientists support acts (Chew Lips and The Whigs)

We thought it was time to introduce you to the bands who will be supporting We Are Scientists at the Wulfrun Hall this evening.

Chew Lips first of all:

• Formed in London in 2008 - and have since released 1 album and 3 singles
• Described as minimal dance pop wih tecno beats
• The album Unicorn received 4/5 in Q Magazine
• BBC DJ Steve Lamacq is a big fan, as is Lauren Laverne
• They played the Electric Proms in 2008

Also joining them will be American garage punk band The Whigs

• 
• Hailing from Athens, Georgia, the band started playing together in 2o02
• 3 piece - made up of Parker Gispert (guitars/lad vocals), Julian Dorio (drums) and Tim Deaux (bass)
• Released their first album "Give em All a Big Fat Lip" in 2006 through Dave Matthews label
• Rolling Stone called them "perhaps the best unsigned band in America."

2nd album "Mission Control" came out in 2007 and "In the Dark" came out this year
