The road to Wolves: Paloma Faith, Chipmunk, Blondie, Carl Barat, Feeder and Cheap Trick

A busy weekend for a lot of the bands heading to Wolverhampton this year - with the biggest music festival Glastonbury taking place.

Paloma Faith arrived on site on the Saturday telling her Twitter followers she was nervous about Sundays performance, feeling like she had to prove something. A midday slot on the Pyramid Stage for her with the band passing them time playing poker with Kitkat Senses instead of money ... rock and roll! :-) .. 127 days to go ... tickets here

Chipmunk's performance at Worthy Farm resulted in a pulled muscle - he reckons the set was was "major!" though, so couldn't have been that bad! ... 6 days to go ... tickets here. Carl Barat, meanwhile, had a stormer headlining the Park Stage, kicking off his set with some new tracks ... 120 days to go (tickets here)

Blondie have been gearing up for tomorrows show at the Civic with an open air gig at the Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire - good reviews too (The Independent) ... 1 day to do (details here)

Elsewhere, a lot of our bands jetting off overseas ...

Feeder have flown out to Japan - sounds like they had a rough landing (aborted at the last minute - eeeek) but they got there in one piece ... 120 days to go ... tickets here) Whilst You Me At Six (Kerrang Award nominees - vote here) are on the Warped Tour in the States along with Andrew WK, All American Rejects, Pennywise, Enter Shikari, The Dropkick Murphys and many many more.

Cheap Trick have been doing the honours in Las Vegas. Some great pictures here ... 134 days to go ... tickets
