Well in case you missed the news last week - Libertines guitarist Carl Barat has announced a run of UK dates - ONE of them at our Slade Rooms venue on 25th October. (tickets here)This comes as he announces a solo album, his first stint working alone. Plus, he's keeping extra busy by working on his memoirs. Both book and album are due out in October too.
Now, the tough decision for any performer going it alone is - how much of your OLD stuff do you play? Those old Libertines tracks are inevitably going to be more popular than his new stuff because they are better known. However, he will want to show off as much of his new material as possible.
